My name is Regina and I will be 40 in December. I just celebrated 2 years of sobriety July 5th. After I quit drinking I realized I had gained 40lbs. and was completely out of shape. I decided to work harder on my nutrition and start the Couch to 5k program. The weight started to drop off and before I knew it, I was running and training for my first half marathon. I finished my first half before my predicted time and thought “if I could do this, imagine what else I can do”! Hince, I continued to run and here I am today. I am now shooting to run my first full marathon in February 2013. I hope to use this blog to not only keep myself accountable but also as a motivator to reach all my goals. If I motivate or pass along useful information to just one person, that will make all the hard work worth it!
